Cot bed workmanship

There are a lot of safety features that a cot bed should have, and most of them are mentioned on the product labels as well as emphasised by manufacturers and dealers. You can also read about them in a variety of magazines for first time parents and on websites that support parenting. But there is one feature of a cot bed that is rarely mentioned although I think it is equally important: workmanship. Of course, most well-known companies that manufacture or sell baby furniture would never introduce anything faulty on the market, but you can never know what the quality of the product is if you buy second-hand stuff. Anyway, I strongly advise you to buy a new cot. Believe it or not, but today most companies care for their customers and realise how important it is to observe all safety regulations. It is much less likely to come across a cot bed that is wobbly, badly finished off, lacks screw or bolts or is simply made of poor quality materials. It"s extremely important not only because we expect an item like that to serve us for years, perhaps also when our next kids arrive in this world. It"s also crucial when you realise that a mattress needs proper support and you can"t risk buying a bed that does not provide it.
